Yes! Rainforests exist in tropical areas, temperate and cool areas. There are rainforests growing on volcanoes, both dormant and active.
What was the dominant vegetation on Mt St Helens before its eruption and what is developing in the same areas. What is the main veg. type growing in Hawaii? Rainforest! And what is the dominant Landform building process there? Well, guess!
Earthquakes mainly occure around the Pacific Ring of Fire, as do most volcanoes. The Pacific is surrounded by deserts, savannas and RAINFORESTS! Earthquakes occure in them proportionately as often as they do in other vegetation areas.

Umm. If there were volcanic eruptions in them, a lot of the rainforests would have been destroyed, although vegetation could eventually come back. Earthquakes, same thing. But I've never heard of either one in a rainforest. Which I'm assuming is why they are such diverse ecosystems. So, although this is a guess basically, I'll say, no.

Neither occur in rainforests. The reason is that the forests keep the ground moists and that keeps volcanoes from erupting and earthquakes are prevented because the tree roots keep the ground stable.
