I am 60 years old I was there at t he beginning and they invented it all. Them and the rolling stones and led xeppelin too ---- all the rest is copycatting
They will be classical music in 200 years. I own everythinbg they ever did and Beethoven and Mozart and Chopin too The best music ever.
and in case you didnt know it was the new technology that did it and the sound engineering. They really did invent it all. Juist listen to the beatles and then listen to real sound -perfectly mixed -there had never been anything like before and evrything since is just a pale imitation

Awesome stuff. Wifey bought me a biography of the group and I was expecting to read about some really wierd stuff. They are just some dudes that got together and made music without too many rules. There just happen to be some great chemestry, and chemicals. Roger Waters toured here a few years ago. I spent the whole evening with chills going up my spine. The music was so awesome and it was like being inthe presence of a god.

i absolutely love pink floyd! my parents introduced me to their music - i grew up with it. dark side of the moon is definitely a masterpiece. i don't know whether the connection to wizard of oz was intentional, but there is definitely a connection.
