Why didnt Gandhi answer the doctor's last 3 questions in Lage Raho Munnabhai?

I saw Munnabhai and the scene during which the doctor asks Gandhi some questions. Why didnt he answer the last three questions even though he knew the answers when Sanjay Dutt read out the questions

It was because of the chemical locha in his mind and he was just helucinating that gandhi was there all the time even thought it was just his mind and the chemical in it.

that was because munnabhai (sanjay dutt) didnt know the answers of these question before...and after he had read the answers, gandhi could answer them...that was because of some chemical locha in his mind....
