Consume foods and drinks that contain fructose (such as fruit juice or honey). There is some evidence that fructose will help your body burn the alcohol faster -- that is, get the alcohol out of your body faster.
Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.
Eat well, if possible. Bouillon soup is good for replacing salt and potassium depleted by drinking alcohol.
Most hangovers are gone within 24 hours. Rest is recommended. Remember, even if you feel good the morning after heavy drinking, your ability to perform at your best will be diminished due to the residual effects of alcohol

Drink a Beer or another of what you had, just ONE! Then you feel better and try to eat something to get food back in. Water will F you up all over. V-8 good or any Drinkable food source or easy stuff. But, the beer or Mixed Drink will help you get started.
IF, you can remember to do this; when you party and drink alot, remember to drink a glass of water after every 3-4 drinks, this will make a BIG difference the next day.

As a former rock star, I know all about this. Take 2 aspirin (NOT Tylenol or ibuprofen) and a Pepcid AC + 3 glasses of water. Sleep as much as you can and when you wake up eat something greasy, like pizza, tacos or Chinese food.

This works, I swear!!!!!
