How do I attach image files on a yahoo mail very fast. It takes long time to do so.?

I wanted to send some scanned image files to a friend. I used the attached button then browsed it but it took two hours and yet it continued to say please wait while we attach the files. What can I do to speed up the attachment of such files?

well its true tht yahoo server takes a lot of time to get uploaded wid our pics
but yes there are few solutions to ya'r problems and they did wonders to me

1> compress it with Win RAR and now upload tht file to ur email or wthsoever

2> try to use Jpeg file format coz it takes less space and appears good you can change just any format to jpeg in ACD SEE and Irfanview by clicking on *file>> save>> in ur desired file format(thts Jpeg)

3>better, why dont you host those images for free on few websites and send the links to ppl whom ya want to male
its the easies and fastest way to upload photofiles on internet

ya can host a file upto 1GB at it and attach it whenevr ya wish too

first how large is your image file? if its really large you should reduce the size of the file first before attaching the file (it would save you tons of time). well, you can either upgrade your cable connection or if its already one of high speed there is nothing you can do about it but wait as the speed problem is on the yahoo mail side.

Hi...download Photomail from Yahoo and it will allow you to manipulate file sizes. It is quite fast.

Compress it, like reduce the resolution using softwares like photoshop
