No. But Sirius Black 'died'.. Not sure what happened next because I have not got a chance to read Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince..

dumbludore died at the end of the 6th book, the half blood prince at the hands of snape. i wouldnt be too sure what will happen in the next book since we learned so much about the possibility of multiple horcruxs.
