Travel is a challenge & I need help from my attendant who is unable to afford the cost, which stops me from travel. Does anyone have any answers to this problem? I want to go to Las Vegas. Are there any specials or programs?

If you are flying, the attendant will have to have a ticket, which will need to be purchased. For hotel rooms, there is always an additional fee for extra people in a room or, of course, if they need a room of their own, that will need to be paid for, too.

If your attendant is an employee and this is a working trip, the attendant's travel expenses should be covered by you as the employer. It's not a vacation for the attendant.

Unfortunately, nothing is free.

Yes and no, as far as airfair is concerned this is up to that airline. Almost all vegas hotels have ADA approved accessibility rooms. As far as transportation is concerned, If you have a paratransit ID from any transit athority that says you require a PCA they can ride free, but it will cost you $1.00 per ride on a strip bus and $0.60 for a residential bus, or $5.00 for a 24hr pass. However, be aware that if you're in a wheelchair, you may not be able to get on the first bus that comes, they all have lifts and came accept wheelchairs but they can't kick someone off to allow you on. The monorail is wheelchair accessible but both of you would need to pay I think, as far as shows, both of you would need tickets to get in. Let me know if you have anymore question and I'll try my best to help.

Contact the airlines and hotel where you plan to stay. Also check with your travel agent and the People With Disabilities Rights group. I'm sure there are programs for this purpose. Good luck in Vegas! Enjoy your trip!
