When tv news reports coverage of the government, the war on terror etc, are they telling us what they think we want to hear or are they telling us the whole truth.

It is not becoming anything. You are becoming wiser. The news has always been this way. You just never noticed it. Now you do. Good work.

All of the news is biased in at least one way...pro-[insert your nation here.]

All news in the States are pro-American. And while the news may be liberal or conservative, depending what you watch, it's all supporting our side.

The news in the Middle East is pro-Middle East. The news shows hateful things against the U.S. and other nations who stand with us. To us, it's horrible and doesn't make any sense. But to them, it's your everyday trustworthy news cycle.

I'm a liberal, but would choose Fox News everyday over news from other parts of the country. Why? Because I'd rather have views which differ from my own, but are still on America's side, rather than listen to some report about how evil the U.S. is to the world.

The whole truth is never known, not good for the masses.

I for one like a news report that is slightly sanitised.

Imagine hearing the absolute truth on a regular basis, I would be a screaming looney on massive doses of anti-depressants.

They tell both the sides if they can and let us come to our own conclusion about the matter
