can I just plug in my travel iron straight into irish electricity supply or do i need an adapter .question from England

The plugs and voltage are the same in Ireland as in ENgland, 3 pin 240v.

No difference whatsoever. Exactly the same plugs and electricity

Exactly the same but if your travel iron is a two pin you will need a 3 pin adaptor.

3 pin plug exactly like in UK, after all it was you "Brits" that gave us our electricity supply in the first place.hehe

No you can just plug it in, or pay someone to do your ironing for you!!!!!!!!!!! Answer from England!!!!

You don't need an adaptor - its 220v; plugs are three square pins; and even if you do need one, you can buy them in supermarkets for half nothing.
