I am 40 years old and I love to play with Barbie dolls and am not ashamed of it. Just curious if I am the only one.

Babysitting my niece includes doll play . I am not ashamed of it. However, not when alone do I pretend that they are real. As long as you are able to distinguish between the fantasy of the dolls from reality , then it is of little consequence. One who maintains the ability to handle financial matters and adult decisions should be allowed to persue any harmless activity. I enjoy diecaste models as much today as when just a kid. Through toys one is able to be released. from the day to day grind which comes with being an adult. Toys are far better than using chemical substances either legal or not for that purpose. As one maintains good mental health, such activities can enhance life. It has been proven in scientific research about the positive aspects of hobbies which includes dolls.

Adults can play with dolls. I play dolls with my kids, not alone, but different people have different ways to entertain themselves. Some people like playing games online, some people just like to watch t.v. so at least you are doing something that requires a little imagination.

hi, im 33 and bought a bratz doll when they first came out, although i dont play with it, she just stands on a shelf. I have 2 sons too, so no girls to buy for.
