Im refering to the theory around the hadron collider...im not sure if I am remembering this right....

when two particles collide they hope to catch a graviton? What is a gravitron and what does it have to do with the string? And how do they see it?

Please visit 'particleadventure.org'. It's a good site that explains which particles are released during collisions in an accelerator. I think the hadron collider is being built at CERN. Do a search for CERN -- you should be able to find your answer there (at least start your search there).

the proper term is graviton, not gravitron. ...and it's the assumed particle that is associated with gravity
