I have known many a woman to go shopping as though they were going out on a date. What do you wear when you shop and is it important to look your best when shopping for clothes, the supermarket, shopping mall, etc.

Has dressing up to go shopping become a trend ?

I think that for some ladies, they do go very dressed up when they go shopping and others don't. There could be a number of reasons why also. They may be coming from somewhere that required them to be more dressed up.
As for me, usually I go very casual but if my hubby and I are out on a date night and realize we need something at the grocery store before going home, you would see me in a micro mini skirt with 5" stilettos on. It just depends like it does for most everyone.
I hope this helps.

i do dress up a little when i go shopping but not as if i were on a date. i would wear a nice pair of jeans or miniskirts, t-shirt and high heels. the reason that a lot of girls dress up for shopping is coz the shopping malls have become a place for flirting. u always find cute guys hanging around and u do wanna look good.

you should always try look good when your out in public , but usually you just wear clothes that r easy to take on and off cuz you do it lots when your shopping. As for dressing like your going on a date, girls really shouldnt do that cuz they get makeup all over the neck lines of the tops thay try on.

My in easy terms substitute is to elementary on-elementary off clothing and shoes, while procuring for garments. I convey socks or knee-highs while procuring for shoes. in any different case, I purely attempt to seem clean and presentable - i'm procuring, no longer merchandising.
