I think a far better question would be why do BLACK coworkers act all surprised to find out that a white person actually knows & likes some black singers. It seems there is a double standard in play; this double standard is called REVERSE RACISM.

whilst people say "appearing black" what they mean is "being the stereotype." you may never experience forced to be a stereotype, merely be who you're. you're black no rely what you do, so as that word has continuously annoyed me. do no longer concentration on living as much as or living down any stereotypes and you will do high quality. If he can no longer settle for it then he's no longer well worth a while or concern. all of us whose purpose is to be a thug is obviously no longer somebody whose opinion you may concern approximately. as far because of the fact the songs you performed, regardless of, you like the music you like. I in all probability could have busted out some Black Sabbath. :p

Because noone wants to pretend to act all politically correct and watch their tongue when they get off work.
Seperation by races is nothing new and its quite natural actually: observe any environment where races are forced to be together (ie: school lunchrooms, prison yards) and you will see that people naturally seperate and prefer to be among their own kind.
