is anyone concerned about the possible black holes that will be created by the new hadron collider?

i read an article recently that said black holes could essentially be produced every day, however because they are so very small it is kind of a non issue. how much do we really understand about black holes? could they be attracted to each other and form larger masses?

Not to be concerned because you need superhuman amounts of energy to create a black hole large enough to swallow even a small marble. Of course the black hole will be sooooooooo small compared to the marble that it is going to swallow. You are thinking too much about the super massive gigantic terrible black holes that do exist in far far away space. And yes these things are so incredibly large that they swallow not only marbles but entire globes of planets and even stars! Amazing how much energy needed to create these monsters! And yet for us to create even a black hole that can swallow a small marble is beyond our capabilities! Shows you how weak we are. We would halfto use up all the energy on this planet earth and maybe we can create a black hole small enough to move a few grains of sand. What they are doing at the labratories and particle accelerators is just playing with nothing really. The black holes that do get created isn't really a big wow cause it's weak and small. It's maybe as strong as nothing.

A severe velocity particle might go your physique with a small probability of crashing with one in all your atoms, yet in spite of everything, assuming the particle has electric powered cost, the particle will produce ionization alongside its direction, that's what could have the damaging effects of any radiation. interior the human physique, this includes nausea, dizziness, blindness, beginning place of maximum cancers, or perhaps loss of life, counting on the means of the radiation. As somebody metioned already, the lively debris popping out of a particle accelerator are actually not distinctive from the cosmic rays exterior the Earth's environment, so this situation is of super situation while making plans manned area missions.

Black holes evaporate at a rate which increases as their size decreases. Therefore, any so-called quantum black hole created in a particle accelerator would instantly vanish in a flash of Hawking radiation, giving back its energy of formation. That's assuming it could be formed in the first place (big assumption).

I'm actually looking forward to having some black holes here on Earth. There are a few people I'd like to toss in. Plus, it would be the ultimate hiding place for anything you'd like to keep private.

not possible even with a mass of a thousand earths to make a black hole, its a misnomer, its not a black hole that they will produce.

This may be an answer to the shortage of landfills or the necessity to rent storage space. Who knows this might be the start of a whole(pun intended) new industry.
