i'm a total prep like ambercombi american eagle and the whole 9 yards but goth doesnt seem that bud i mean i wouldn't "cut" or anything i just wanna see what it would be like and my friends would totally freak!tell me if i should! and how

So basically, the entire goth thing is just a change of wardrobe 'n' makeup to you? No offense, but that's really shallow! Go and check out goth.net. Then, after reading the explanation of goth is, and isn't, you can see how you feel. P.S. Cutting is recognized as a mental disorder, and most goths and emo kids do not 'cut'. Now that you know, stop spreading the stereotype around.

Why don't you try it for Halloween and see how it goes? I was a total prep during high school and I turned out just fine! And cutting has nothing to do with being "goth". Cutting is an emotional problem. If you want to turn goth to cut, then you need to get some professional help Hun.

your friends are probably prep too and they would freak out but want to be with you because it would be like you're a novelty, But other goths would shun you because they would know that you like abercrombie etc. and they would see you as a poser. you should only do it if you really think it fits your personality, not just for a change, or you'll be a poser.

cutting yourself isnt considered goth...it's called emo. and being goth is fine, just tell your friends that you're just trying something new. and if you like it, then stick with it for a while.
and dont turn emo. emo people cut and cutting is bad. trust me, i know
