I need to find a remedy for rash on a toddler. Have tried the doctor's stuff and has not worked. So if you have any idea's on how I can make some kind of a cream I would greatly appreciate it. I would like to natural herbs of course. Thank you for your help.

Burt's has got a whole all-natural baby care line. I've heard it's excellent. You should be able to find it at your local health food store.

Corn starch should help. You need to find what is causing the rash. It may be an allergic reaction to something and that is why the meds don't seem to be working. I just had to change detergents as I had a rash that would not go away. Took me a while to figure out it was the detergent.

There's a product called "Abolene", which is an application "skin cleanser and moisturizer." Generally found in section where Cetaphil and other skin sensisitve lotions are shelved. It was effective on our 8 year old son's unexplainable and seemingly untreatable skin rashes. Applied to the exposed areas daily cleared the rashes. Occasionally the rashes reappear, after swimming. The Abolene works.

GNC has some vitamin creams. Try some ADE cream and alternate it a couple of times a day with some Vitamin C cream.
Sneak a child's multivtamin into the toddler's food. Can't hurt; may help! Good luck!

I would highly recommend visiting a Homeopath in your area. All of the above posts do not take into account the "why" of the rash. They are only treating the symptom. There is an underlying weakness that needs to be addressed. Email me privately and I may know someone in your area.

You can try something obvious. Preparation H.
It has witchhazel, and nothing to do with witches. It's an old remedy for rashes on bottoms.
Please describe the rash.
