You can have a 'show' anytime during the last couple of weeks. Don't worry too much, it may be another couple of weeks until labour actually begins.
Be very careful with personal hygene though because your cervix will now start to open, that plug if its come away will allow the narural labour process to begin so just take care of yourself. If in the next few days your braxton hicks brcome more intense, dont panic just time them, and it may start with period like cramps which gradually get more painful.
If your waters go dont rush straight down the hospital it's best to do most of the labour at home, being your first baby (i assume) they will only intervine if the labour does'nt progress how they'd like it.
When your contractions are 5 minutes apart, then take yourself down the hospital. Hope this helps

i'm supposing you're talking about your mucous plug. no, it doesn't have to be blood tinged. sometimes its whitish yellow and sometimes its white. sometimes you never even see your plug. if you're looking at your plug as an indication of whether or not you'll go soon isn't a good indicative. I would begin watching your Braxton Hicks to see if they get any rythym to them. Be prepared to be fooled a few times, those Braxton Hicks are tricky! But you'll know its the real thing when the contractions get worse and follow some sort of pattern. Also, if you water breaks you would need to get to the hospital right away. Don't wait around once the water breaks, because the longer you go the more chance for infection you get. So if your water breaks you better boogey! Good luck! And have fun with your new baby!

mucous is not un-common in pregnancy, especially towards the end. If you have had a lot of it it just means things are getting ready for the impending birth, i had a lot of discharge two weeks before my baby was due, it is perfectly normal and your body is going through big chemical changes so you will experience some strange happenings in your body, talk to your midwife if you are worried, best of luck

It is a show which you can have a couple of weeks before the birth. I never had one at all. Some people do and some don't. Shouldn't panic until you have either strong labour pains or you water has broke.

We purely had this take place these days and the blood become already dried. I soaked the shirt in chilly water for a pair days. Then I washed as typical and all of it got here out. i'm notably effective the soaking it in chilly water is the main important.

It's called a muscus plug. It is your body getting ready to give birth. If you have blood, (called show) you should contact your dr.

i had my 2ND baby 15 weeks ago and my show was just white not blood stained, yet my 1st son it was very blood stained, it can vary. but don't rush yourself to hospital because it can happen a while before you go into labour just ring your midwife tell her you think you've had a show and see what she suggests.
good luck!!!

I had a lot of gunky stuff late on in my pregnany, it could be something or nothing. All you can do is see if anything else hapens, like waters breaking or contractions starting.

Sounds like your show. It doesn't have to be blood stained at all.
