I would technically call praying to inflict harm a "curse" which is generally a no-no in most religions.

No. What you wish on others will come upon you. Vengence is mine said the Lord. Let God handle things like that . He may have a punishment worse than death or other plans for that person altogether. Just ask that God's will and justice be done.

You can find several Biblical precedences to support your answer. Many old Testament characters asked God (prayer) to destroy their enemies.

Also - there are many other times one might prayer that someone dies. A terminally ill person in pain for instance. So long as your prayers are not evil in nature, and are for the greater good, I don't think it is wrong.

I guess if someone is suffering alot and you believe that prayer works, it would be ok to pray for them to leave life and stop suffering.
If its for someone you dont like and you pray for their death, I dont know how that would work and how that would make you feel spiritually. I guess praying for a mean persons death would make you mean spiritually as well?

Here's the rule with prayer: bless the person you hate through prayer and it will come back multiplied to you ....pray for something bad to happen to someone and that will come back multiplied to you also.

you should know that King David prayed for God to smite his enemies and to destroy those who raised their arm against him, and God called David the "Apple of My Eye"! Praying for the downfall of evil is never wrong, but first you should ask God if He would rather you pray for this person's salvation. Remember, God is no respector of persons, and He does answer prayer, even if we don't always understand the answer He gives us.

Gods are imaginary, so its really up to your personal morality.
Such things are you responsibility to decide.

Christians need god because they are born with sinful souls.

Atheists are born with ethical souls and are moral by nature.

Christian commit all of the crime in America. When did you ever hear about Atheist gangs in prison.

Every hate-crime is committed by a Christian, almost all of whom are republican.

Why? Because conservative Christian Republicans have the monopoly on both hate and crime.

Christians go to hell. Atheists go to Heaven, because God likes decent intelligent people and he hates lying hypocritical Christian scum.

Absolutely not, pray for him to see what he is doing to his people and to change himself, or for someone to rise up and take his place.

It is morally wrong, whether you are praying to the Almighty God or to the Devil!
