A guy that doesn't let his fear of homosexuality get in the way of good grooming and dressing. Like getting the unibrow waxed. Getting a manicure if needed. A guy that likes beer but can order a good wine also. A guy who is at home playing football with the guys or going to the ballet with his wife. A man of refined tastes that doesn't think it takes away from his machoness.

The metrosexual revolution is not so much an uprising as it is a more efficient way to sell expensive face creams, allowing marketers to trade on good, old-fashioned insecurity (a method that has been successfully imposed on women for decades).
It is about men with disposable incomes who like to shop.
David Beckham and Brad Pitt are examples of metrosexuality.

Metrosexuals have been around forever...at one time they were called fops, or gentry, or dandies, etc. Basically men who are in touch with fashion and design, and who are trying to be cultured. In some cases, affecting a less masculine take on things.

Men who have a sense of fashion and good taste, are well groomed and actually use product to keep themselves looking like the gorgeous men they are. They are intelligent, educated men.

A gay guy who still afraid to come out, but claims that his gay way of dressing is just a style. Why would someone want to dress as something that they are not? I now girls wouldn't want to dress like a prostitutes if she isn't one. Right?
