A husband has a total of $2500 in his payroll account yet keeps $25 in the family joint account, can a wife sue him for anything if she found out some other way about his payroll account which he doesn't disclose to her? He doesn't know that his wife knows about the payroll account. And right now I'm keeping her from killing him. They have three kids and she's also working but she feels this is just too much since he doesn't even give her even 1% of anything he earns.

well i suppose they are still together or split up. if they are split then maybe and if they are not maybe she should confront him about it. Confront him about it even if they are split and ask him why he wont give her any money. I would tell her to talk to a lawyer and really see what he says bc he might be saving up for a college fund for the kids and maybe wants to keep it a secrete so it does not get spent and maybe he wants to forget that it is there so kids can have money when it is time to go to college. BUT I would really tell her to confront him about it but be nice about it so she can get a real answer out of him and then if she feels she got a BS answer then ask a lawyer about it.

if they are seperated or divorced, she can have a lawyer force disclosure of assets, which she will not get a share of until the divorce ... if he can show this is a company asset account that he has outstanding paychecks to honor, she cant attach it. she can force him to sell her share of the company assets or buy her out .. if they are together, there is nothing she can do
