are there?
the fact is that only 1% are overpaid, and 99% are underpaid
1% get 90% of world income - US$70 trillion a year - which is US$70,000 per family in the world
for years i have been pushing an easy plan to get this stolen money back to the underpaid - and bring world peace
and i cant get anyone interested
my plan means that every family would get another US$70,000 a year
the plan is easy, hasslefree, doesnt cost anything, is capitalist, freemarket, private property, self interest, nonaltruistic,
and i cant get any interest
i am driven to the theory that 99% of people are the opposite of greedy - they like supporting the overpaid - how else can one explain that we have extreme overpay and underpay and the underpaid are making no clamour to get their earnings back?
everyone knows there are rich and poor - that some work hard for very little, and some work easy for enormous amounts
and yet no one is crying foul, no one is crying unjust, no one is demanding restitution
we have pay from $1 to $1 billion for a fortnight's work - ie, pay from 1000th to a million times the average hourly pay
ie, the most unbelievably extreme blatant obvious injustice or theft
and we have no demand from the people to correct this most obvious injustice
we have average hourly pay up to US$500,000, and peak hourly pay up to US$15,000,000 an hour
and no protest, no sign of even consciousness of injustice, of overpay and underpay - we hardly have the concepts of overpay and underpay
how extremely obvious is it that we have a wide range of hourly pay - and yet no one enquires what the world average pay is, ie what everyone would get if there was equal hourly pay - so that people can get some idea of how much they are underpaid - zero interest in this
how to explain? -
how obvious is it that superrich are privileged, paid at a very nice rate per unit of work? - and no one suspects that this is paid for by underpay
bill gates increased 'his' fortune by US$18 billion in 1998 - 18/26 of a billion per fortnight - with the ups and downs of income, he probably hit 1 billion a fortnight at peak - and i have heard of mexican druglords pulling US$30 billion a year
there is no interest in limiting fortunes - in preventing income from going to limitless heights - although it is obvious that limitless income for limited work, limited contribution to society is excessive, is overpay
pay up to a million times the average pay! - and there is no strong firm objection to this - it seems people are unconcerned how much individuals suck out of society - what is going on? - what can explain this?
can people really not get that if someone can take out limitless amounts, that drains the pool of wealth for others?
bill gates contributes one hour of work, adds the product of one hour's work to society, and takes out US$500,000 average, US$15 million peak - US$15 million worth of goods and services - which obviously involve more than one hour's work
why does this bother no one?
overpay is so extreme that underpay is so extreme that 1% of humanity starve to death amid plenty - and we are comfortable with this - we think it is fine if there is superwealth and superpoverty, when there could be plenty for all
it is as though people dont care if it is themselves who are rich, they only care if someone is rich - people dont care if they are underpaid, as long as there is superoverpay
is it really hard to see a connection between superhigh incomes and low incomes?
there have to be billions of people working harder than bill gates - there have to be ceo's working harder than bill gates - who are not getting the same pay - there have to be 1000 people with very equal skill, ability, brains, etc as bill gates - who are getting all over the range of pay from top to bottom
people seem to be utterly indifferent to injustice
1% get 90% of world income, and do less than 1% of the work - because the richer you are, the less you HAVE to work - the poorer you are, the more you HAVE to work - and no one cares
the founding fathers told us that wealth concentration and democracy were incompatible - and yet the people have shown zero vigilance in preventing wealth concentration for 200 years since american independence
and yet i dont see anyone who doesnt appreciate money, who doesnt know that money is good, can buy lots of good things - who doesnt jump for joy if they win the lottery, or get an inheritance - and people will do all sorts of things to get an inheritance - and yet they do nothing about the most super extreme range of pay per unit of work - they dont want to know - do they think: the worse underpay is, the better overpay is, and i want to hope for overpay? - is hope more important to people than actuality? - it seems people would rather have an infinitesimal hope of billions than the assured reality of plenty for everyone and therefore peace and safety from underpaid trying to snatch 'your' money
if people were alone in nature, then there is no way that they could be overpaid or underpaid - they would get all the fruits of their labour - but as soon as there is a great pool of wealth, formed by the labour of billions, people want it all, and would rather have an infinitesimal hope or dream of superwealth, than justice, peace, safety, freedom, democracy, survival
is that greed, to prefer a] a dream of wealth and a reality of endless violence of people grabbing from each other, all trying to get the whole cake, to b]real plenty, and perfect amity with others, all getting all the fruit of their labour, no struggle, grabbing, theft, violence, anger, danger?
it seems that most people would rather have underpay, and honesty, and let the few dishonest and greedy run away with all the money
1% get 90% of world income!!!!!! - that fact ought to make everyone sit up and take the greatest notice - 99% of people are being robbed!!!!! - but no one wants to know - it is the strangest thing in the world - i cant figure it out at all - it is just selfcontradictory - people value money, and yet are completely uninterested in a plan to get their fairshare
all i can do is shake my head - i havent got a clue how to explain such a contradiction
if the 99% were greedy, they would be interested in a plan to get them more of the money they earn - they are completely uninterested
bizarre-as
see my other answers for more on this, if you are not completely uninterested
