I myself avoid having sex while i'm in my periods, I tried it once on the first day of the period and it was really painful. Is it ok to have sexual intercourse during a period?

Oh yeah...she never complained of it being painful though normally we would wait till closer to the end of the flow...as it does open it up and release more...it never bothered me, and she said she was hornier during her period...yes it is OK to have sex on your period more so avoid having sex the week before cause that's when you'll get pregnant...obviously your period is flushing the egg out so your odds are a lot less that you would get pregnant. Personally I liked it (anybody who has a problem with that, guess what it's your problem) and oh she loved it. So rock on do your thing but uh try waiting till its closer to being over it shouldn't hurt as much but understand that pain can lead to other things if its hit just right ;)

Its perfectly ok to have sex during your cycle.I found at this time was when my hormones were the highest and my sex drive the highest.As long as you dont mind the mess..,sometimes the shower is a great place as you dont have to worry about the mess.Relax and enjoy it with the right man.Also it helps aleviate cramps.What a great pain killer lol.The pain you experience could be a number of things..,one could be the stress of worries of having sex during this time.Good luck.

Actually, intercourse helps lessen cramping. Your body may be too tender the first few days. Wait until the 2nd night. Good time for sex in the shower.

It depends on the woman. I have tried it, but I get strong period pains, so I don't like to very often. If you experience discomfort, your boyfriend will just have to accept that you don't like it.
There is always a risk of pregnancy regardless of where you are in your cycle.

Yes, it's ok to have sex, just messy. I usually wait a few days until my flow is lighter then put a towel under me.

i avoid it too, but its ok to have sex while on your period, it won't hurt anything. its just messy and disgusting. most guys aren't into that kind of thing.

yeha i've foudn it actualy feels better cuz there is more blood to the area... its' perfectly fine to do it though, jsut use protection like normal! :)

Yes! dint get sick or anything. No risk of pregnancy. It was pretty good. Will do it again . Pis carry germs also no one minds.

its unadvisable. its also very unhealthy because of all the bacteria in the blood.
