Absolutely. It's not supposed to hurt. Talk to a doctor (and a parent if that's an option) and make sure nothing is wrong. It's not uncommon to be a little sore, but a lot of pain can mean there's a problem.

For example whether it was related to the relative size of the phallus or vaginal canal, whether it was related to the rupture of the hymen, whether there was any infection in the phallus.It could be due to inflammation or infection or due to some anatomical defect. It would probably be a good idea to go to your doctor or OB/GYN. Sometimes it does hurt if you haven't done it in awhile or if it's your first time. You are probably ok, but it's always a good idea to be safe and get checked just in case.
