How do you know if someone likes you?

and what are the signs as i really really like this guy at school, but don't want to be embarrassed buy asking im if he likes me! Help!

Doesn't take much to check someone out.. If you close to a location where he is. Check him out.. Eye contact..give him a couple different times at a couple of different locations.. and if he is interested.. he will make the first move and think it was his idea...

just notice this...
1. He stares at you a lot.
2. He hits you a lot. (just play hitting )
3. He uses the first thing that pops into his head to start a conversation with you
4. He yelled, "Hi!", to your mom that day she picked you up from school.
5. He blew off his buds to go see "Run Away Bride" with you cuz you couldn't get another girl pal to go and didn't want to go alone.
6. He tries to make you laugh anyway even if he gets hurt in the process
7. His voice gets softer ("Hey, you") when ever you two talk.
8. You hung up on him. He called you back.
9. You where invited by him to a group outing.
10. He called you to talk about nothing at all.
11. He imitates your laugh. OK, you do snort sometimes. Which makes you laugh even harder.
12. He remembers little things you mention in casual conversation.
13. He sometimes stares straight into your eyes.
14. He every possible way to touch you (your hair, face, ***, thighs, ect.)
15. You catch him staring at you.
16. he will try and talk, and spend time with you as much as possible

I suggest you ask his friends. Get them to prod him about it, and guys will share anything with other guys because of that respect factor that seems to be inheret between the same sex. That's probably your most surefire way of getting an answer.

Otherwise, look for small signs. If he's defensive and stands up for you, if he teases you (but not too much), if he laughs at your jokes and if he likes the things you like to do. If he wants to spend time with you, then who knows? But I'd look for these sort of signs, as well as ask his friends.

the best way? stand in a room with them. if their feet point towards you - they are subconciously thinking of you. also, i'm a guy. 14 years old , fine a little young but whatever. i know that guys are dead scared to ask out a girl. but at the same you chicks are scared of us. so if that happens no ones going to do anything! just pluck up some courage and ask him full out. but maybe try smiling when you say it, so that if he says no you can say you were joking :D

Maintain a lot of eye contact with him. Look at him, smile sweetly or shyly until his eyes catch yours and then look down fast. A couple of seconds later look back at him.
Keep doing this. And always smile.

This will let him know that you like him BUT without him knowing about it, guys don't get this kind of subtlety, so he won't understand, but it will get him thinking about you and you will certainly soon find out whether he does or not.
