its very hard i started on my varsity team as a quarterback when i was a freshman talk abut pressure i was there because of pure talent and came a little bit of fame but to get at the college level i made sure i was working 10 times harder then my other teammates after practice they were going home i was running 2-3 extra miles on the track you have to have the extra self drive to keep going. and lifting is a big part of it lift as much as you can and learn how to lift right just because you think your doing it right doesn't mean you are have some one watch you and correct your flaws watch tape of your self do the extra mile because if you are good and wither or not you go to college you will always be proud of your self when you get older

It depends what you mean by "star". Do you want all the girls to notice you? Or do you want the coach to think you're a star? Usually people who focus on wanting to be "stars" end up being selfish players who spend the next 20 years wearing a worn-out jersey and a letterjacket that's too tight and reminding people how good they were in "that one game."

Girls will notice you if you have confidence, a nice body and a lot of friends. Most of them don't know a running back from running water and actually think cheerleading is a sport, so don't worry about them.

As far as the coach, just do your job and do it better than anyone else does theirs. And you'll earn his respect.

Any kind of success depends on how much you put into it. Or you could have been like me. I and all the player on my team were stars, because my high school was so small, that we had to play on both side of th ball most of the time. Class B Six Man Football 1952 Louisiana State Champs.

It always come down to who wants something more. I'm the best receiver on my team, and I worked my butt off to get there. Shoot, a sophmore on varsity?
