I am nervous! Scared! Wondering if it will be a mistake.....I look at him when hes sitting there and ask myself if I could be with him forever. He is my bestfriend in the world but I do not know the answer to these questions and that scares me. How do you know when you have found the one to get married to?

In life one needs to take chances, if your guy is your bestfriend and everyday you look forward to seeing him and cant imagaine your life without him, then take that chance. Marriage is a big step, one that should be taken lightly...If you feel scared and as you say your guy is your best friend then talk to him, tell him your fears, let him tell you his, listen to each other. Communication is very important, if you have to look at that same face and deal with whatever comes up in your marriage, you need to have or learn that skill...Its hard, dont get me wrong, my husband and i have a lot of debates, one thing i can say we dont argue, and we do not agree on everything but we agree to disagree and respect each others opinion...One thing my mother said to me when before i got married...Dont go to bed angry and dont leave dirty dishes in the sink...Im still trying to figure out the dishes part LOL

You're going to hate this answer, but -- if you don't know the answers to your questions, then you shouldn't be getting married.
When you look at him, there shouldn't be worry, fear. You should know, without a doubt, that he is the left hand to your right, that when he breathes out, you breathe in - that what you have together will never break or fade - that the very thought of being apart is unbrearable.
And I'm sure somewhere in your heart, you feel all these things too, marriage is big step - but it's one you never take alone.

It's perfectly normal to feel this way. I felt the same 15 years ago when I was two months away from my wedding. I'm still happily married and don't have any regrets. You shouldn't rush yourself into marriage, but only time will tell. Good Luck!

This is the natural feeling with any human , fear for unknown and without exploring one can not do anything , like sitting on the edge of a swiming pool , thinking how to swimm , one has to go in to the water first to start with . Go ahead and explore the bright future and learn to have faith in your self with humility .

You don't know. You can never know. All you can do is try. You find a person, fall in love, and get married. Hopefully, it works, and you are together for 60 years. But, there are NO guarantees. Lots of marriages fail. So, you trust yourself and your fiance- and you try. Just as people have done for thousands of years.

I've been there too. I wasn't sure whether he was the one when I married him and it certainly turned out he wasn't the one. I had reasons to be apprehensive about being married.
Now I have no apprehension about the man I'm with now. Almost 9 years and I know its forever.
