Are you speaking of your Internet Explorer toolbar, which has your "Favorites" saved? (This toolbar saves your favorites on your computer through Internet Explorer, but are only accessible if/when you are signed on as the user on the computer.)

Or, are you, perhaps, speaking of your "Yahoo" toolbar, which has your "Bookmarks" saved? (The Yahoo toolbar can bookmark your favorite websites on their toolbar to enable you to go to your favorite sites whenever you have signed into Yahoo, regardless of which computer you use to access the Web. They are saved at Yahoo, and not at your home computer.)

If it's your Yahoo toolbar, make sure you still have it installed (through the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs icon). My particular add/remove programs lists five Yahoo items: Companion, Customizations, Internet Mail, Messenger, and Messenger Explorer Bar -- not sure which one of those caused the Yahoo toolbar to install on my computer!!! If it's not installed on your computer, I suppose you would have to reinstall it.

If it's the Internet Explorer toolbar that has disappeared, you would click on the "View" button, put your cursor over "Toolbars," and make sure there is a checkmark by "Standard Buttons." That will bring back the IE toolbar, which has a "Favorites" Icon on it. If you click that Icon, your list of favorites will appear on the left side of your computer screen, which will remain until you either "unclick" the same button, or click on the "x" in the box showing above the list of favorites.

Note: My "View Toolbars" button has an item called "Yahoo Companion," but when I uncheck it, it only removes the stuff to the right of my "address line." It does not affect the Yahoo toolbar, so I don't think anything in the "View Toolbars" box will bring back the Yahoo toolbar itself. Somebody more knowledgeable will probably be able to better reply about that!
