Female celebrities are pressured to become as skinny as possible. I read somewhere that if a woman in a tv show or movie is a size 8 or above, they won't show her with a boyfriend or in a relationship.

I also notice that the same pressure is not there for men. A man on a tv show can be overweight, balding, etc., and still be shown in a good relationship - the woman who plays the wife, though, is expected to be a size 6 or under.

That's what happens when you eat nothing, exercise for hours a day, and do cocaine. Not even a little bit sexy. Remember celebrities from earlier decades? They actually had some class! Like Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, etc.

Apparently. I think the most gorgeous celebrities are Thora Birch and Kate Winslet (before she lost all that weight). They're both curvy, look healthy and happy, and they're both absolutely gorgeous in a size 10-12, unlike these disgusting Kate Moss's and frickin Victoria Beckham's, who at size 2's look like they'll just break in half if you so much as look at them the wrong way.

They don't look that weak or sick...they use a lot of makeup to cover that up.

It's the dieting and drugs and alcohol, lack of sleep and partying, I'd guess.

I feel for them. They have vey hard lives, living in the limelight.

Good thing they get paid more than the president to put up with it, however...
