Personally... I HATE my job... I only got this job because we just recently moved, it was across the street within walking distance cuz we don't have a 2nd vehicle, and I just needed to make money. But they won't give me 40hrs WHICH SUCKS!!! So ... I have gone out job searching found another one that works around my current job, so now i'm trying to figure out if I like my NEW job better than my old job, and once I find out that answer I'll get rid of the job I hate completly and keep searching! :) ... SO yeah ANYTIME IS a good time... if you have a 2nd person (boyfriend) making MONEY which you guys are able to live off of their INCOME then do so... find a good paying lOVEable job! ENJOY~ GOOD LUCK!

OH OH... I went to www.monster.com and wrote/filled out a resume! They do provide tips on how to go about it and it's very helpful I got quite a few bites my first day on it... :) good luck!

the days of corporate loyalty to employees is long gone ... anytime is the best time ... its always good to put your resume out every 6 months to see what you are worth on the job market ... when you get the offer you cant refuse (and this should not be strictly a money consideration, there are other things to consider such as management style and environment) .. then move on to the next job. do not quit this one until you have a written offer from the next one that you like.

They always say that the best time to get a new job is when you already have one.

That way you don't have to take a new job out of desperation... you can look more casually, and pick one that's truly right for you, not the first thing you can get 'cause the rent is due!

What kind of work are you interested in? Do not quit your current job......look for a new position on your off/sick time. When you find a new position you think you would like.......be sure and give at least a two week notice at your old position. DON'T BURN YOUR BRIDGES.........especially if you are a "youngun"!!
And........it would be a good idea to get help in putting a resume together professionally.

I asked the same question a month ago. Basically if your not happy with it then quit. Look for another job that peaks your interest and go for it. You need to look out for you and if your not happy, then you will have bad work results. Do what makes you happy

now I would guess, I just quit my job today because I really didn't like going to it. I was sick of it and I only worked there for about 3 weeks. Do what you like if you can and enjoy what you do. Good luck!

Find a job first before quitting your job. That way,you won't use up your savings if you didn't find job fast after quitting job.
