I am a mother of a son, working in govt. department ........my husband made agreement in 1991 ...The agreement was not process in any court . so we start living seperately due to incompatiblility in our nature, at that time my son is 5 years old . But we have a 3 storage building which is in his name...at that time we both constributed to make that building... now he is collecting money (rent) every month and giving me no share from it... ple. help

You are in a typical Indian male trap set for simple Indian women, I do hope your husband is not involved with another women also ?.
Well you have the following options:
Try and reconcile or Go for a divorce.
Don't go for a divorce but ask for financial assistance for your son, your husband is duty bound to share the expenditure.
If you can prove that the money put in the construction of the house is half yours then you have a right to get the portion of the earnings.
Try and settle this with your husband mutually or alternatively hire a good lawyer (by good I really mean good, not the ones who fleece you) to resolve the issue. Good Luck

Unless u have proof of your contribution to the 3 story building (receipts/statements or written agreement) it will be extremely difficult to prove it in court., as the building is under his name. The best advice I can give is to consult a lawyer to determine if u have a fighting chance in claiming your share.

There is nothing anyone can do to help. You don't have a legal separation agreement so you get nothing. That's why it's always best to consult a lawyer if you're planning on separating.

As I read some of these answers, one has to ask themselves if any of you are old enough to be up this late. Honey after all this time it's get a divorce. I don't know where you live but in my state your entitled to 50% of all material properties. No matter whose name it is in, especially if it was acquired after your union. since there is no record of separation you are still legally married. Unless you have a prenup stating otherwise. gl

Well, ask him for your share of the money. or take him to court. If both of you contributed, then u are equally entitled to your share.

im sorry , but i really hope you do not work for the gov,as you really do not make sence.what do you mean making building? do you mean you built the storage ?and what is the age of your son,as my guess he is about 19 . and what does that have to do with the problem? can you rewite it?

talk to him about it, then take him to a lawyer, but i guarentee you he has something up his sleeve. no one does that with some sort of plan or being nefarious.
mind his direct ways and inderct ways.
