I like to answer questions.
If there is not somebody to answer the questions what is the meaning in asking.
Secondly i have asked a few questions so far and never got a good answer for any.
I dont want that to happen to others. So i do a lot of research before answering to make sure that I am giving them the correct answers.
I completely disagree with sophie. A teacher is to guide students rather than feeding them with stupid facts and asking them questions and punishing them for not answering. She should be able to answer all their questions or at least help them finding answers to their doubts.

The internet is such an amazing place!
When I see a question I don't know a clear answer to I dive into it looking wherever I can to find the answer. In that way I learn more than I knew yesterday and I get to share it with other people right now.
I have asked a few questions, but I truly enjoy the answering..............

i like answering. i just started on this website, and i find it more rewarding to answer questions rather than ask. for one, i never know what to ask. i think a lot of my questions are dumb and i know the obvious answer, yet will ask anyway. when answering, i first seek to answer questions i'll know the answers to; for instance; life; marriage & family/friends. i think i am a pro in that subject and enjoy sharing my experiences in a positive way which will help someone else. the bonus: i'm new to this site and answering is more points than asking. again, why ask when you already know the answer?

I love to answer questions because I'm able to share my experiences and knowledge with others that I normally would not meet in passing. It gives the benefit of anonymity and sharing life lessons with the hope that it will help someone along the way.

I like to answer questions...especially if they are young adults who feel like they have no one to talk to..my children are grown with children of their own now, and sometimes I will see a question that someone isn't having such a great day, and may not be feeling good about themself, and it feels good to tell them that even if just one person out there cares that they ARE here, maybe you brought a little sunshine into their day that they just needed to hear....everyone needs to feel someone cares, and it saddens me as a parent and as a person when someone genuinely feels they don't matter, when they do!

I prefer to ask questions--maybe because I am a teacher, and it just feels natural. I really don't like the fact that you get penalized for asking, but rewarded for answering. Kind of twisted, but I guess it keeps things balanced; otherwise, people would be asking stupid questions all the time, rather than answering any of them.

I DON'T MIND ASKING QUESTIONS IF I REALLY NEED TO FIND OUT SOMETHING THAT I CAN'T LOCATE ON MY OWN, BUT I ALSO LIKE TO BE HELPFUL TO OTHERS SO I TEND TO ANSWER QUESTIONS WHERE I CAN GIVE ADVICE OR OTHER RESOURCES FOR THEM TO GET THE HELP THEY NEED.
