Repression/conspiracy are cause and effect.

Extremist groups putting ideologies into the public forum such as such as KKK with with white supremacy, British Nation party with emigration, Nazi "with the Jewish question" and George Bush with War on Terror cause Governments to re-act. Sometimes the re-actions are repressive. Those repressions lead to conspiracy and further repression forming a destructive cycle.

Government using Tax monies to buy arms from arms companies within there border allows those companies to expand and then because of their expansion are able to sell arms to foreigner governments.

When groups call for a more equable distribution of wealth in society this may be seen as socialist or communist, McCarthy used these groups as a spring board to carry out witch hunts through out the USA for a political power base.

When the American colonies wanted representation in caused a Tax on tea, the effect was revolution. The making of the USA and a written constitution. The written constitution has been interpreted to make slavery illegal, given freedom of speech, the right to bear arms and the right to fight against government if you believe the government is wrong. Although the American Civil War effectively denied that right.

The Cause is that we are continually fed with massive amounts of propaganda and BULL S.H.I.T to enable Evil Deceivers and Lying Bastards to become Elected and gain power over the Nation , which is Defenceless . The Effect is Disaster,Time and Time again , once Elected these Cretins embark upon their self serving tricks , Bungling , wrecking everything they get involved in, the result of the current Governments Lunacy is now seen everywhere in our Country and the Nation is suffering the worst situation for many many years

The "cause" is the one hundred and sixty something thousand dollars per year we pay these pricks to "represent" us for a few months. The effect is that you get all of the ignorant, canniving, self centered car salesmen to run for office. Who you know will always be more important than what you know, let us not play naive. Eventually, this system will collapse, probably within twenty years, and new questions will arise, fear not.

Any societal system needs a leader. That's the human mind. When we speak about politics we think of the President/Prime ministers. However, it is time we think of who our local leaders are. What is their competence to be wherever they are, be it state governors, Mayors, local councillors what have you.

If the quality of most of such local leaders are poor you have a poor political system. One very efficient and capable man cannot run the country. Such a man probably can become a religious leader, where a large number of people may have faith in his/her teachings.

Whether we can usually create such enlightened system is the moot point.
