ok this is from the gameboy advance game "the minish cap- zelda" game this happens when the deku scrub is blocking the way for u and the princess to reach the castle plz some tell me how to deflect the nuts he throws im just going insane plz help ! thanks so much mithraem.

ok this is from the gameboy advance game "the minish cap- zelda" game this happens when the deku scrub is blocking the way for u and the princess to reach the castle plz some tell me how to deflect the nuts he throws im just going insane plz help ! becasue where ever i stand and try 2 use the shied the nuts go right through me , where egsactly do i have 2 stand to reflect his nuts! ve been stuck here for the last 2 days some plz help!

in other games with deku scrubs, such as zelda: ocarina of time, you needed to reflect the seed back with the sheild. NOT SO in minish cap. nope.
it's time to play some baseball.
just like in link to the past, when you had to fight the wizard after you got the master sword, or like in ocarina when you fight the phantom ganon, you need to wait for the object to just about hit you...
then...
WHAM!!!
slash away at the flying object, and it will be sent back to its source.
in minish cap you'll find out that this particular deku scrub was not malicious,

When you enter the town there should be a part with some guy with three objects a large rupee a shield and a heart when you talk to Zelda she'll win the 'contest thingy that the guy offers' and choose the shield and give it to you. after that make sure you talk to everyone in the town and then use your shield she gives you to deflect the deku nuts.

There is a Deku Scrub blocking the path and firing small nuts in your direction. Pull out that trusty shield of yours and use it to deflect his attack back at him. The scrub explains in his dizzyness that he was only trying to setup shops, Deku Scrubs have a tendency to fire nuts out of their mouths when they speak.
Were you going nuts? (Sorry, had to ask :P)

On your question of where to stand in front of the Deku Shrub. You stand directly in front of it, quickly use your sheild and wait for it to spit a nut at you. If you are directly in front of him it will bounce back at the Deku Shrub.
