Ok I know all you Americans out there will yell "We can never lose at anything ever" but just for a moment allow the thought that America is on the brink of loseing a war - it won't be invaded it won't be occupied but it's economic dominance and it's ego are going to go down the drain - They won't be able to dictate as a "super power" anymore . They will have to line up and negotiate with all the other countires of the world and admit they were beaten and pull the troops home before they are slaughtered

Would the American government accept that or nule the hell out of the world in a "if we can't rule it you can't have it either" We win or you die ......

Which would America choose a loss or killing half or all of the world ....

Answer honestly as you are able and then think about that what does that say about you and the nation and all of us human beings?

I suspect that America if it thought it could not win would not even think twice about nuking half the world

There is one nation is al the world that has used atomic weapons against it's foe .

There is one nation amongst others actively useing chemical weapons and supplying arms and chemical weapons -----America ----- The US

The US is playing a game where they intend to permenatly rule the world if they can't do that then they will kill everyone who gets in thier way.

That way the next target is likely to surrender - this is a sick and evil empire

America has already lost a least one war. We certainly didn't win the Vietnam war. And still the world exists.

And maybe you forget that their were two "super powers", and the "non-super power" still has the means of nuking the world many times over, it is certainly not an exclusive club.

And let me ask you something, do you believe in each and everything your government does? If Americans are one thing it is a people that question everything, we have the right to second guess our government and we do it at every turn, but still for the most part we are a nation that stand together. And that is because no other country has shown us an example of a better country with better ideals. Yes there are other very good countries, but none I would call better.

But to answer you question straight up. It depends. It depends on if the action was done by someone in the government without the people's say. It depend on if losing the war just means leaving some people that have been fighting their whole existence to go back to fight each other or if losing the war means that we would lose what we believe in like individual rights. But in the end people never really know that kind of answer until it happens.

Like the generation of Americans that feared some stupid person from the Soviet Union might thinking pressing that stupid button was a good idea, and our choice wouldn't be losing a war it would be should we all die together or should we let them be the only ones left (well until the radiation took care of the whole world).

We lost in Vietnam and we are still here....

Korea was a stalemate with both sides having nukes and we are still here...

we beat the Soviets at their own game both here and in Cuba and we came close.. but it DIDN'T happen..

It must drive you crazy knowing that the United States is the only superpower left on the face of the Earth... I'm sure it drives you crazy knowing ( you seem to have somewhat logical reasoning ability ) that getting slaughtered is something we don't do... unless of course you want to count Bill Clinton's little jaunt into Mogadishu...

I really hate to burst your ant i- America bubble but , contrary to what all the Bush haters think.. we are NOT going to blow up the world... there's probably a better chance we will keep some of the Radical factions of other countries from doing it for us...

I honestly believe we don't give a rat's *** how other people govern themselves as long as they arent murdering innocent people in mass ( like Saddam gassing the Kurds )

Im really sorry you have such a convoluted view of my country... come visit sometime and get to know the people here...

Wow, I really am on a roll tonight...
You seem like a smart guy to me, so I'll try to be nice about this.
We are dealing with the issue of containment over there in the Middle East. Whereas, I wouldn't put it past George "Dubya" (who can't even pronounce nuclear) to push the button, I'm pretty sure that his dear old dad or his buddies would allow that.
But if they did...They'd probably get all the old @*!(^'s into a safe shelter with plenty of food, water, and bitches to mate with while the rest of us fry.
What does this say about me...Well, I was a U.S. Soldier in the United States Army. I've done my research, I've seen combat, and I vote. What does my opinion say about me...I'm opinionated for one, and for another, don't you dare link me with the scum that run this country. I joined because I believed I would be helping my nation and it's people! Whether the American Government actually cares about it's people let alone the rest of the world, has yet to be seen.

Sorry, but you just don't know America. You can't even give an example to extrapolate such a ridiculous idea about nuking half of the world. Wake up and smell the coffee friend. If rogue countries like Iran get nuclear bombs, then you can talk about somebody not concerned about using them...

If you were to ask if the so called 'Terrorist' would destroy the world if it can not win? I would say 'yes', they are doing it now, very slowly, do you think they care if the live or die?
America will never nuke the world, don't be silly.

obviously america will nuke the entire world.b'coz america and american thinks that its only the americans who have the right to live in world.rest all should die and it has proved it time and again.small examples of it are assasination attempts on fidel castro, tryin hard political coup in venezuela, trying hard to suppress iran and u can even take great examples from history , like supporting mujahideens in afganistan to kill russians and now killing them when america felt their job was done.attacking iraq on the basis of manipulated intelligence to get control on iraqi oil, therby forcing millions of iraqi in the face of death due to civil war. wake up good hearted people of america .stop ur government from killing innocent people throughout the world .help in contributing towards a peaceful world not in a dangerous world america has made it currently.

If you leave it up to the people who use Bush as their puppet they would just rather blow up half the world then they can run the whole thing.
