Acne is basically equivalent to open sores. Open sores = EWW

Because it is seen as a skin imperfection that causes misery for most sufferers. And there are still people ignorant enough to believe that washing more often will fix it! Proper medication is needed to treat the acne, cutting out chocolate won't work either! HTH : )

i feel it is unattractive because it shows that you have alot of bacteria which usually means you are also not drinking enough water, not eating well, stressed out, having health problems, or not washing your face on a regular basis.

It looks like open sores and thus injured skin. I think we are all conditioned to admire skin that looks healthy, smooth and even in color.

it is scientifically proven that humans consider symmetry of a face attractive, therefore lumps and deformities within the skin can be considered unattractive
