The Milwaukee Brewers were one of the original American League teams in 1901, but moved to St. Louis in 1902 and became the Browns. They moved to Baltimore after the 1953 season.
The St. Louis Cardinals were known as the Browns from their founding in 1882 until sometime in the 1890s, and a couple previous St. Louis teams were known as the Brown Stockings.
