what would u do if u found out ur best friend was being abused and they said not to tell anybody??

im in this kind of situaltion andi called som1...it made everything worse...

I would gently and delicately find out what it was that was going on and then advise my friend to seek help immediately. If my friend didn't I would probably tell someone myself.

It depends how old you and your friend are.
The younger you are, the more reason for you to tell someone.
Try an understanding teacher at school or a guidance teacher you trust.
Telling your folks may get you a 'mind your own business' response, so that may not be a good idea. On the other hand, you may involve them in a situation they do not know how to handle.
You may also report the case to a social worker, or a local agency that deals with child abuse.
Whatever, you should tell someone that knows how to take care of these things. You may want to not tell your friend that you did.
Dont leave it alone. If you are a true friend, you will do your bit to help her.

Call Child Protective Services or look in the front of your local phone book for the Child Abuse Hot line...It's a toll free call...and report it to someone there. Take action...

apparently she is telling you because she needs help. otherwise she wouldn't of told you.so go to the school nurse or counselor or your parents or even the police or something, but if you care about this friend, you will try to help them. no matter if you lose them as a friend. at least you would have helped them. and if they are really a friend. you won't lose them anyways.. help them and tell someone now.

I would tell someone. She may be mad at you but atleast she will be safe.
