Needed:
(1) LAN Cable - crossover the cable if you don't have hub.
(2) USB Wifi - connect them through AD-HOC, then either use ICS or through proxy server.
There's also reading (link below) that you can connect even WITHOUT router.

Wireless is a good option. You will need a router what ever though. If you have two computers in separate rooms, then get a wireless router. I use wireless, but the performance isnt so good as wired networking

No Need of Wireless.......If u can Get an Router....U can Connect Both the PCs Usin an LAN Cable........Connect it 2 the Router....and Connect ur INTERNET CONNECTION Cable 2 the Router and..........Wolla......u can use Net Connection on Both ur Machines.

You can if you are using a broadband connection to connect to the internet. Dial up connections onthe other hand can only have one computer connection to it at any one time.

you have to have two boxes set to the same configuration hooked up to each comp, or an internet router splitter

of course. you can have a wireless router connected to the modem, or you can have the modem that has a wireless capability. ask your ISP for the configuration. :)
