Of course there are terrorists...They are the Arabs that our great leaders ticked off in the 1980's and it's taken almost twenty years for it to bite us in our fourth point of contact. Hezbollah...yeah, well the Hebrews took back their Holy Land in 1948 and they've been paying for that little move ever since. It doesn't matter if it's the Palestinians or the Hezbollah of Lebanon...It all stems from an old hatred from the ancient world, when Hagar and her son Ismael were removed from Abraham's tribe. And get this...Because the United States sides with Israel, we're gonna take some more flack...Just keep your head low, your helmet on, and aim for center mass on that howling rag head boy!

This is a very tough question.

I can honestly say that I am 'on the fence'.

I believe that both sides are right and both sides are wrong. I'll explain:
- 2000 years ago the Jewish ppl had control of Jerusalem; some believe that gives them the right to own it no
- BUT then the Palestinians had control for many many years; some believe that gives them the land
- 1948 countries outside of either the Jewish ppl or the Palestinians stepped in and created Israel; thereby, giving it to Jewish ppl and settling the dispute
- Ever since that occurred, the Palestinians have felt as though the land was stolen from them... much like the Jewish ppl felt it was stolen from them before.

So you see, neither is right and neither is wrong.

-This also applies to the violence. Both sides have committed atrocities. Israel goes into Lebanon with aerial bombs kililng many civilians when they know Lebanon has no air force. That seems cowardly and unfair to me.

-But on the other side, you have the Palestinians and Hezbollah that constantly use suicide bombers to kill Israeli civilians.

Once again, neither is right and neither is wrong.

What does it serve the area to keep the war going. The only one it helps is the arms dealers. It wouldn't surprise me if they were selling to both sides.

As one person said if Israel said they'd not do any violence for 1 year their enemy's still would, while if their enemies said no violence for a year maybe there could be long-term peace.

Israel made their area prosperous. The ones that stayed in refugee camps just got angrier. Stop getting more joy from taking away assets from others than creating assets for yourself.

They are group of cowardly Muslims who only know one way to heaven. Get killed in action and go to heaven where each will be greeted by 72 virgins. This is more than merely a political war. It is a JIHAD which means it is a religious war. If an Israeli would say that he would convert, they would honor him. They want the world to convert to Islam. Are you willing to convert?

They are terrorists, because in case you forget (or choose to forget) they started the current mess by kidnapping those two Israeli soldiers, which resulted in the Israelis rampaging and destroying Lebanon. Their actions (no matter how one justifies it) is what led to the tragedy in Lebanon today.

And they have the nerve to call themselves freedom fighters...HA!!!

Gotta work on the spelling there. Anyway, they use terrorist tactics, so I suppose they are. But so was the IRA, much loved by many Americans, interestingly enough.
