what do i do to fix this. i dont think i have the task manager anymore...

Go to Control Panel, click Scheduled Tasks. Then work from there.

I had the same problem about a week ago mine was not showing up cause i had a virus on my computer i would get a good anti virus program installed and do a virus scan I also would get ad ware se it is a free down load and it searches for bad cookies
best of luck i ran both virus scan and ad ware scan and cleaned out the virus that i had and now every thing is working again

If you are running WIndows XP, select "Run" from the Start Menu and paste the following in, then hit "OK":
taskmgr.exe

If Task Manager comes up, then it's still there. :)

I agree with white_wizard. Happens with my office while ago. New type of virus of brontok or rontokbro. And some viruses nowdays can lock your computer to do something. Even restart your PC when browsing to porn site. LOL. Get your Anti viruses and Spyware program updated. AVG and Spysweeper is an OK programs. But not all anti viruses can delete or kill viruses. Depend who you trust. Or 1 solution... re-install. :)

right click on the blue bar at the botton of your screen and then click task manager.

If After all This Method its Not Wrkin.....Try Creatin an Another LOGIN Account 4m CONTROL PANEL---USERs................Use the New Account and TRY ur TASK MANAGER it Wud Surely Come.......DELETE ur OLD ACCOUNT...............Hav Fun

It sounds like your computer is freezing up on you which means that something is hogging your system's resources. When that happens to me, the only thing that I can do is hit the power button and re-start the computer.

The easiest way to get it pulled up is to RIGHT CLICK the taskbar at the bottom of your Desktop.

if you want to show your task manager then apply
ctrl+shift+esc
