Guys do you like high maintenance girls?

I'm definatly high maintenance and I'm never going to change. Seems like most guys think it's annoying that I want to look nice when I go out. Is there any guys who like high maintenance girls?

I mean girls who take forever to get ready....that's what high maintenance is! Perfect hair, perfect make-up, perfume, skin, clothes...you know i like to look nice when i go out!

Talk about stereo types! I am not stuck up or a gold digger and I am very independant....don't need a man to buy me ****! I just like to look nice when I go out and take a long time to get ready...will agree with the late thing. I am late a lot!

Hmmm....I don't think that's exactly what is meant by the term "high maintenance". It refers to a woman requiring lots of presents and jewelry and pampering by others. Maybe you have that too, but just wanting/trying to look pretty wouldn't be a problem for most guys.

Being high maintenence is kind of an insult. It just means that the guy has to put a lot of time and money into the relationship. I think we definitely would rather have a girl that doesn't need that kind of attention. Its just less pressure and easier on the wallet.

Most men can't afford the carnote for a hummer even though they may want one, so they get a carnote they can afford on something like a nice thunderbird. The car may cost a little less to have but the carnote makes it easier to take care of and really love. Sometimes that car is with them a very long time and will never let them down. That hummer could cause problems with parking, too much for gas, and not exactly good for every occasion. Most people with expensive cars get a new lease every year or two instead because they mostly go for flash and what's hot. So they move on to the next hot car.

Okay now replace CAR with Woman.

High maintenance in my book is someone who needs a lot of attention, lacks reason and can never face her issues... thus making conversations and exchanges difficult.

I don't beleive that a woman who wants to look her best and takes the time to do so is a maintenance issue as much as a personality reality...

If you look good and you also can hold intelligent conversation and care not so much about how people look at you but rather show interest into who they are and their own interest... Then taking care of yourself and allowing yourself to be a girl is a plus especially when intelligence match the beauty !

No. A high maintenance woman isn't worth the trouble.

These comments don't truly reflect the way I am, though. I don't just walk ahead of my partner and expect her to follow me. I expect my partner to walk next to me, not in front and not behind. She'll keep up when I walk and sometimes I'll slow down to make sure of our position relative to each other when the need arises. The walking is a metaphor. It is life with a partner -- not life with someone who expects anything more or less than to be a true partner.

High maintenance women can find mates, of course, but I've not seen many in my wanderings who were happy with the arrangement (on either side of that arrangement).

I don't think wanting to look nice equals high maintenance. High maintenance is a girl that makes you have to work extra hard at to maintain. Yes I do like them but not in that kinda way. Every girl is a challange & for alpha male type guys, we are up for the challange. High maintenance or not, you are still human & just need different angles to work. In the end it is just to play you tho, cuz we are never going to change either.

Girl you can still look good and not be high maintenance. most guys don't like girls who are high maintenance cause those types of girls "tend" to always be EXTREMELY late, preppy and stuck up, thing the world revolve around them and think they are better then everyone. Not many men want a gold digger.
Look good, but support your own shopping habit's and they might like you. Not many men like to fork over cash for you to go shopping with only to come back with their credit cards maxed out and their wallets empty cause you want to be high maintenance.
High maintenance is just that if you dont want to be called high maintenance find something else to describe you.

I know I'm a girl but I;ve leanred that no, they don't. Who wants to have that on they're back 24/7? I sure wouldn't I'm the type of girl that cares a lot about how people feel. I shut up if they dont like sometihng and never speak of it again. Change and you'll see how much more guys will like you.

most high maintenance girls want you to pay for their maintencance and all of them make you late. You don't need two hours to get ready that is horrible. once in awhile you can go all out but damn girl we going to the movies
