has anyone ever had an airbag deploy right in their face?

some nutcase side-swiped me today and both driver and passenger airbag deployed. i was out for like a minute. when i came to, i still couldn't figure out what the hell happened for like 7 minutes. and i could swear i saw colourful stars.my right cheek was numb for like 3 hours. now i know why they say babies and young children shouldn't sit in the front. the force is enough to kill them. if you have ever had an airbag "poof" in your face, what was it like? serious answers please.

Unfortunately ive had it happen to me like 3 times. It sucks. Its loud and it stinks. Your just stunned like "holey f#*k, what just happened". I was never hit on the side just in the front and i was always wearing my seatbelt. all times i had corneal abrasions which felt like sand paper scrubbing my eyes every time i blinked (for about a week) ohh gosh i hate that smell and all that smokey stuff. sorry to hear that happen to you. I hope you feel better. they do save lives though.
