Abso frickin lutely!
My brother works graveyard at one of the oldest (and most haunted) prisons in AZ. He works in a room that has two hallways connected to it on either side with locked doors from the inside. He was working when he heard footsteps walking down the hall and stop at the door--the handle jiggled, but no one unlocked it, so he went and opened it, but no one was there. He sat back down and the handle jiggled and someone knocked--he got up again and no one was there. Feeling it was a prank, he waited and sure enough the knocking started again. He yelled "KNOCK IT OFF"--then the knocking stopped, but the door started to buckle and bend INWARDS like something pushing on it, then it stopped, and the footsteps walked away. He was freaked out, but kept calm. 10 minutes went by and then footsteps walked down the opposite hallway and the handle jiggled, and the knocking started again. This time he didn't get up, because there was a camera on the other side, and he KNEW no one was there, because he was looking at the monitor! He yelled in his gruffest, meanest voice to KNOCK IT OFF...and the footsteps went away. He is not the only guard to experience this--some have walked off their shifts and quit and some prisoners refuse to go into certain parts of the prison.

When I was younger we used to walk to school past this old barn. One day on our way home we past the barn and could hear a creaking sound along with a weird gurgling kind of noise. So we looked inside the barn through a window and seen nothing but junk and a rope swaying from the main support beam of the barn.We joked around about ghosts and stuff and continued home. Later that night we brought it up at home again. My parents and grand mom were there and asked what we were talking about? We explained to them what had happened earlier that day . As we told them the looks on their faces were of shock and horror. They didn't say much after that except to stay away from there and come home a different way. The next day my Grandfather told me why the concern. He's said the old man that owned the barns wife had died earlier in that year . He said the old guy was so alone and sad he didn't want live any more and hung himself in the old barn from the rafter a week earlier! Thus explaining the rope swaying from the main support beam and the noises we heard! PRETTY FREAKY DON'T YA THINK?

My boyfriend and I were on a holiday tour and we stayed for two nights at an 'old hotel' in Liverpool, England.
I had the weirdest experiences of my life at this hotel. I repeatedly saw, in a dream state, a woman with long brown curly hair, who was wearing a long white dress circa 1900 walking through the lobby of the hotel. My impression of her was that she was aristocratic - her bearing was arrogant and important. I remember wondering why she wasn't wearing a hat. When I woke up my boyfriend told me he didn't realise I was asleep, that I was talking to him 30 seconds earlier, but he was concerned about me because I sounded like I was hyperventilating.
I thought they were just incredibly vivid dreams, until I heard from my tour operator that on another tour at the same time, a professional medium saw the exact same woman in the lobby and was asking if there was any history about her and the hotel.
I emailed the hotel when my holiday was over, but they never replied.

My mother died in 2002 and on her birthday in 2003 in the middle of the night I woke up and a chair in my room had been moved across the room and it was against the wall. I know I didn't move the chair and there was noone else there so I assumed it was my mother. That is the only encounter I have ever had that made me think that a ghost had done something and I couldn't explain it away or think someone else had done it. And plus it happened on her birthday.

The silent all through the house gave me chills kept me awake i slept in her room in her bed well anyhoo as i began to fall asleep i could hear a soft moan like a ghost coming through the house scared me to death I knew it was her and i know she was not out to hurt me she was just letting me know she was their.
It went on the whole night it started in the kitchen cause that where she stayed and stuff she love to cook.
The moan kept coming getting louder i quicky pulled the covers over me and tryed to ingnore it.
She made her way into her room and stopped between the two beds.
After that i could smell the sent of baby powder.
The next morning i told my parents they told me she came to visit me.
I wasn't with her when she died, I miss her so much ( I Love to see the day when we meet again)

Funny I saw this and it caught my attention.
Yesterday my friend and I went to Dick's house and sent him to the light and we felt him go.
See Dick died 9/28/05 I see him often on his poarch, I would say hi to him frequently. Dick would talk to me, he would say I can get to my yard equipment but they wont work for me. I can tell he was getting frustrated. His house is the same today as it was when he left his earth suit.
It was wonderful. my neighbor and I were so suprised he went so easily. He said a few choice words before he went, like blablala, but he always would. My chihuahua came from him, his dog is the mother and my dog was father, so my dog had a connection with him to, he was born there. .When Dick went we felt a wonderful different breeze and my dog looked away then at me and totally relaxed. After that we didnt feel him there anymore.
God BlessDick, he trusted to enter Gods light. Amen

HONESTLY... I don't have a "GHOST" story... but I do kinda believe in them... seriously.
I babysat this kid ANDREW (the light of my day (n life) :) ... Definately miss him! He was only 2yrs old, he passed away May 31, 2006 of an infection in his chest area... :( ... well... I babysat him in my home, and there are certain things that happen from time to time and I feel as if its him! Seriously. Andrew and I used to come into my computer room, kinda the "PLAYROOM" for him... he'd come and play on the playstation... this kid was able to turn the TV on by himself and what not... so one day I'm sitting here... NO ONE was in my house, just ME MYSELF thats it... I had the remote right by my arm and my TV just shut off.. I was like wtf? so I looked to see if maybe by some odd chance i had set the "EVERY NIGHT" timer.. nope... so i belive it to be Andrew. :) giving me a great memory.
Also sometimes when he was getting tired... and very cranky he'd lay his head on my right leg... always my right leg... pretty much in the same spot every time! ... Well one night i was sitting here and my whole body was cold, I'm always cold... but ONE area, the area he always laid on was hott.... and I mean hott... how weird is that ****? Well I dunno about you guys, but I LOVE believing that it is ANDREW sending me a message... he was such a wonderful kid to babysit and pass my time with... I MISS HIM SOOOO MUCH! LOVE YA ANDREW (RIP) :)

One time when going back to my car from a friends house I felt a breeze..on a very still night, which also blew my hair into my face. His house was adjacent to a cemetery...or maybe I was just imaging things. I only recall this because it just felt odd that night.
