The Internet is a network of computers and servers that communicate in high speed. The Internet providers are what provide access to the Internet through a server or more. A website is basically a file someone has created and assigned a previously empty address than submitted to a server that is directly, or remotely connected to their own. When you get onto a web-page what you tend to be doing is searching through a server and downloading that information onto your computer and storing it to view it. What a browser does its comprehend HTML language and displays it in a user friendly way. you can make simple browsers that only display text but the tend to be either more confusing or less user friendly.
