I gotta say, I've never had a lot of zits. My sister and brother did, and I'm kinda proud that I hardly get zits.
But when I did get zits, I'd scrub my face really really good, and then I'd take rubbing alchol, put it on a peice of rolled up tissue paper, and rub the alchol on my face.
It stings like hell, but it always worked really quick for me.

yes! there are a few different things to try depending on which types of acne you have cystic or black heads the cystic types or white heads are more of a bacterial infection and black heads are clogged pores usually caused by skin that is oily and not cleaned well what i mean is the dead skin cells arent removed well enough or often enough. blackheads can be removed w/a pure soap used daily the best is DIAL WHITE brand this was ref by a world renound Dr. derm. along w/Listerine mouth wash as an estringent to apply to the face nightly it has the highest antibacterial content apply w/cotton ball on affected areas. A cystic acne treatment is more difficult use the same as above but add a 3 times a week mud mask ST ives is the best. Then for removing of dead skin cells which remove excess oil use ST ives Apricot facial scrub for acne/blemishes everyday/night. For spot treatments use Pers-A-gel10 by clean&clear. also an ice cube in a papertowel or washclothe on affected area will bring down swelling and is a quick fix. you need to drink lots of water at least 8/8ozglasses a day. Toothepaste on spots if they are small and if toothepaste is old fashioned paste brand can also work to dry-out the zit temp. if none of these work for you as they have worked for me and my dtr. see a dermatologist for eval. there are alot of med's you can get to help ie; cleocin T-gel 0.1%, cleocin antibiotics, retin-A cream, differin cream, bactrim DS tablets, and you might want to change your shampoo to a dandruff brand even if you do not have it because they have less oils like neutagina T-gel shampoo is very simaliar to cleocin and can help prevent some of the acne. good luck i hope some of this insight might help you make some new discissions about your skin no matter what beauty is only skin deep! you are beautiful inside dont ever forget that. I know what it was like to go through this problem and now my young teenage dtr. so i tell her the same thing. good luck!

Drink lots of water and don't touch your face alot. The dirt and oils on your hands get into your pores, causing the zits in the first place. Wash your face with Noxzema every day, soap is too drying.
