Of course it is okay to like one of your guy friends. Relationships need to be based on friendship and trust in order to work out.
Before you go off and take it to the next level you should make sure he feels the same way about you. You don't want to make him feel awkward or anything so if you feel that you two have a connection ask if there could be something more between the both of you.
What's the worst that can happen? If he feels weird and does not want to talk to you anymore, then he is loser. If he says he only wants to be friends well then agree and keep a good friend.

Aren't those the best ones to like? They're your friends, you know them better than strangers and you get along. It's okay to like one of your guy friends. The only fear I would have is that he only liked me back "Like a sister". I've had that happen.

ya i do i'd keep it secret for a while unless maybe you and your friends think he likes you too!! but ya if he doesn't like you then except it and move on and just except he just wants to be friends!!it sounds hard believe me but really it's simple if you are a good enough friend then you will easily stop liking him if he just wants to be friends!!

yes, it means you know them more and can have a better realtionship with them(sometimes) because you already have a great friendship!!!
