It's hypocritical to think that a man should have to pay child support in all circumstances, but then not allow a man to be a part of the decision to abort.
Abortion by itself is wrong. WHen you say that, people always go out of their way to come up with 100 circumstances where it should be ok. I say, then give abortions under certain circumstances if you can't make it illegal.
In my opinion, I don't care what your situation is, if the mother can survive the pregnancy, having an abortion is quite selfish. Even in cases of rape, it's STILL not the baby's fault. There is always adoption.

I think that only the woman should decide. And, I think that parental notification could be a bad thing, esp. if a girl has abusive parents. However, there should be a 2 strike type rule for minors, so that abortion isn't used as birth control.
The White House can't monitor anything fairly or effectively. But in my opinion, the White House should stay out of it. If the gov't becomes involved, there will be a return to "back alley' and clothes hanger abortions. And, it would also worsen the public welfare and child welfare systems. Well, it would get worse than it is already.
I also believe that guy shouldn't have a say in whether or not a woman should have an abortion...but if a woman chooses not to have the kid and the man doesn't want to have anything to do with it, I think he should be able to legally give up any parental rights or ties, without paying child support.

That is what the west is all about, freedom which is good, equal right, good too. But just have a look at what is happening now mostly in families, it appears the card is now turning on Men, and women are acquiring more right than men.A man don't nay say when it comes to aborting his baby, simply because the woman is carrying it, and when it come to wealth shearing the same woman will have equal right even when the man have already made his wealth before marrying her.

If it takes two people to make the baby, then it takes two people to decide the future of that baby. I would be interested how many of you PRO ABORTION people are also in favor of partial birth abortions....you know the ones where the perfectly viable baby is allowed to be partially born (the head) they are then stabbed in the head and the brain is sucked out until the skull collapses. How can that be right? I believe abortions should be illegal. How selfish for a woman to say it is only about her.....

Abortion is a medical procedure. It should be a decision made between the pregnant woman and a doctor, not legislated by the state.
No one should be forced to incubate an unwanted child. We're barely taking care of the ones that are here. No, I don't think parents should have to be notified.

Yes. Pro-Lifers (rightwing-wackos) violate peoples liberties all the time. If you can't pay, don't play. Pay for a kid .. pay for an abortion. Whatever! There are a lot of irresponsible people reproducing these days .. and I am not interested in paying for their kids.

What each woman decides to medically do with her body is between her and her Doctor....why in the hell should the Government or a panel of geriatric old men (the supreme court) get off telling ANY woman her rights with HER body!!!???

People always seem concerned about the woman's right to choose, since it is her body. However, the rights of the unborn child are often overlooked. Doesn't our constitution say something about the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? How can the unborn child have that if the woman aborts it?

Its called anti abortion. A "choice" is when you decide to put a condom on or to drink Coke instead of Pepsi, not when you disinfect your womb of an unwanted child. Calling an "abortionist" pro choice is like calling a "leftist" progressive. It may sound better but its the same old lie.
