Ok, so heres the deal. Theres a guy in my 1st period in school that i really like but im having trouble talking to him and im not the type of person who would go up to a guy that i like and talk. So, i want to no how i can go up to this guy and talk to him without being so nervous at the same time.....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and by the way i dont want to be like all flirty at the same time

I'm a shy girl myself so I don't like making the first move either. The thing that's probably scaring you the most is the fact that he IS someone you like. Try pretending he's just another guy friend, try to forget how you feel about him. This way you'll be more likely to come across naturally. Has anyone ever told you to fake it? If you're not confident, just pretend you are! Sure, it works better with people who don't know you, but either way, it does eventually pay off.
If you know anything about this guy, try to relate your conversation back to that. Hope this helps!

Here's what I do:
I usually just banish all evidence that I even like the guy at all as a crush and be myself. I usually joke around and laugh with them. I just talk to them as if they were my friend... even though my inner self is having the urge to throw myself and kiss them. Ahem, you didn't hear that.
I also sometimes ask questions about themselves like what music they listen to, how old they are, etc...
If you feel really nervous about talking to them, you can ask your friends for advice. You could also ask your friends to go over to him and strike up a conversation and let HIM say something to you.

well don't worry about it i'm shy to but i think that if yu pretend you don't like him then become really good friends then you can find out later if he's the right guy for you and if he isn't then guess what you have him as a friend!!! that worked for me!! i liked this kid and did the exact same thing up there and became good friends w/ him and it turned out that we were better off as friends and not gf bf!!try it and see how it goes!!GOOD LUCK
