shame that president Bush will order the torture of prisoners, anything short of death, organ failure, brain dead, water bording, basically the Geneva Conventions will be ignored, as if there not worth the paper they were written on. Bush has appointed himself judge, jury and executer, how do Americans justify torture?

Many of the answers didn't even answer your question. Instead their fake rage took the time to hate you, call you vile names, and slander your character. What is at stake here is that the USA has stood on a high moral ground.....and now, instead of leading by example of a higher morality we have sunk to the level of the people that all the posters hate so much.....the terrorist.

She was gift from France...probably happy to be anywhere but France!
Bush has his intellectual limits. Don't forget Donald Rumsfeld. He knew what was happening in Guantanamo and sent the main General to get tough in Iraq with the prisoners. He is the guy getting off light here on the internet.
I respect your appreciation of the accusations of torture. I also empathize with the US soldiers in the field following orders. Student marches in the '60's were more noticeable than all the talk on the net......this is effective but nothing like the demonstrations needed to show public outrage! Get off your computer and out in the streets to demonstrate!

FIRST OF ALL: The Statue of Liberty faces the ocean her head held up high, she is shining her beacon of liberty and hope to the world.
SECOND OF ALL: What part of 'radical islam wants you to convert to their religion or die' don't you understand?
We have gone FIVE YEARS without a second attack. Do you think that was a happy accident? No! We are protected by men and women who know that they are doing. And I will not let the UN tie their hands behind their backs. Besides when the terrorists catch one of our guys they believe in torture and even film brutal beheadings.
Do you wanna know what they would do to you? It would make our version of torture look like a birthday party with cake.

No shame at all. The overreaction to this issue has been ridiculous. You will never see the U.S. cutting off heads or mutilating bodies, so get over your hypersensitivity already.

Be careful of a dull saw as the terrorist saw your head off. At least the French sharpened the guillotine.
I'm sure your friends will enjoy seeing it on the internet.

Yep, she does. That my country would come this, I never expected. At this point, I am horrified. In my opinion, Bush has led us on a downhill course from the day he took office. I see him as a very deranged and dangerous man.

I think that she is proud and smiling. I sleep at night just fine knowing that those rejects from humanity will hopefully still be tortured(as you call it) I wish they had job openings for that kinda work, or you could do it for community service!
