well my friend Rachel says that this kid Mitchel likes her and i said ok what about it? and she said well he always says hi to me in the hall and then i told her that he says hi to me in the hall to!! but mitchel is a really good friend of mine and i don't think that he likes her so should i ask him if he likes her and then tell her if he doesn't mind?? i don't want her to be sad though if he doesn't like her so should i ask him and then keep it a secret that i ever asked him about it? and also i really don't want her to be mad at me if it turns out he likes me and not her because all the facts lead to him liking me! what if he likes me do you think she will be mad at me?so here's the info: rachel thinks he likes her, i think he likes me, and we both have a crush on him!! what do i do help!!

If he likes you and not her, she'll be mad. And if not outright mad, she will at least be resentful and jealous. It may be a situation where you have to choose who is more important to you, and who is a better friend: Rachel or the guy?
Guys come and go, but good friends are hard to find.
At the same time, if Rachel is truly a good friend, she shouldn't let her jealousy get in the way of your friendship.
And if you want to be a good friend to Rachel, you should at least give her enough time to heal before even thinking about starting something up with the guy.

If you like him, ask him out. If you do though, you risk losing Rachael as a friend. I'd suggest do nothing right now and see if Mitchell makes the first move.
